Hey guys. I'm new to heli's and just flew my new trex SE. LOVE IT.
Anyways, I have a triton charger and 2 Flight power 2150mah 3s1p 11.1v packs.
I crashed the other day and didn't get the full use out of both packs. Both packs still have just over 11.1V in them. Do i need to use the trition to discharge these packs before i fully charge them again? Is it even necessary to discharge them? I thought since there is no memory i can just charge from where ever i left off as long as the pack doesn't drop belowe 3 volts per cell.
I hooked up my triton charger and there is only one setting to discharge a 3 cell lipo pack. I believe it discharges to a minimum of 3volts per cell. Isn't that too much since the nominal voltage is 3.7???? Last question, how many amps should i set it to when discharging?? I just tried using 1.8amps.
