I've decided to buy a new CP Pro to replace a CP that I've had to rebuild so many times, I just want to start over new. I want to get the CP Pro mainly because it comes with all the things I wish I had with the CP (the Pro wasn't out when I got the CP) but also because of the available HH gyro. With the CP, I could never keep the tail straight and would eventually lose it and crash.

Anyway, are there any recommended "extras" I should get besides the G90 and an extra batt pack? Also, how hard is it to setup the G90?

g90 setup is outlined well in the manual. I use a telebee gyro, cheaper and essentially the same thing.

I also changed out all the servos to HS55's. The S75's that come with the pro are faster then the 55's but they dont center well and developed a ton of slop in a short amount of time. Horizon was nice enough to send me new gears though.

A side benifit of the 55's being slower is that they calm down the pro a lot.

Went out and bought the CP Pro yesterday and got the G90, an extra Li-Po, training gear and some extra blades although for right now, I'm using the plastic flat bottoms from the CP. I also had them setup and trim everything for me and then they test flew it in the store. I brought it home and tried it out. That HH gyro makes all the difference in the world! I'm sure the hobby shop trimming everything for me helped as well. Between the G90 and the flat bottom blades, I almost looked like I'd been flying for years. I could hover in a 3x3 space, no problem. With the CP I was all over the place and eventually would have to cut the throttle and drop it or hit something. The Pro is a bit "twitchier" than the CP was but that actually helps me since I have very fast reflexes and the CP didn't seem to react quick enough sometimes.

Man, I love this thing! :D

24 hours later? May it rest in pieces. :(

Twichy little suckers arn't they. My Pro lasted a little longer than yours but not much. If I had it to do over again I would have started with a HDX450, MX450 or a Trex 450 SE. The 450's are still small enough to be relitively inexpensive and they are WAY more stable and easier to fly than the CP size machines.

Spend a little more now so you can save alot later.

i cant stress enough , get some technical know-how , upgrade to a brushless motor , e-flight 370 , 3600 KV its the best upgrade you can do , higher headspeed = more control
