Which dampeners you using? Are you using the new one piece dampeners?
0844-12 is the part number for the one piece dampeners.

I am guessing you mean you have had the Stratus for a year and not years. The Stratus came out about this time last year 2005.

The new one piece dampeners are 90 durometer. They use a .50 mm shim on each side. With the one piece you will have to run at least 1700 rpm and above to keep the heli from wobbling the dampeners are so tight and hard.

The washout hub has nothing to do with the floppy in the head.
I know your english is not good. So maybe I don't understand what you mean by floppy.
If the blades are going in and out of track.
I would suggest checking the thrust bearings and see if they are pitted. You may need new thrust bearings.
The radial bearings should be OK unless you have crashed hard and the bearings are rough to turn by hand.

Washout arms should be fine as long as the bolts holding them are not bent or too loose.

Could it be the retainer on the spindle that's bad?

I'm using the one piece right now, I hate em... They are way too hard. My fury nods like a raptor 60 from hell when doing large funnels. Head speed is about 1780 when it starts nodding. Takes about 3 go arounds before it starts oscillating. I wish they would come out with 80 and 70 duro versions of the 1 piece...

Yes I agree the one piece dampeners are hard. But that is how they were designed. If I try to hover my Stratus in normal throttle mode, the head is turning about 1600 it will oscilate. Soon as I flip into idle up and turning about 1850 plus it is smooth. That is how the dampeners are designed to give plenty of support for the idle up maneuvers such as kaos, piro flips, death spirals with aft pull outs.

Another option if you want the one piece dampeners to have a little more give. Take about a 1/16th inch drill bit and drill several holes thru the flat end of the dampener towards the molded end. This will give it a softer reflex.

Ya they are very hard. At lower head speeds they may wobble some. I am surprised they are doing it at 1780 though... I run my GV-1 set to 1850 most of the time and it is smooth. I some times get a bit of wobble at the bottom of an auto.
