Actually, neither display is showing current version of the 14MZ software. The color difference is nothing more than different color adjustment/contrast settting of the images. The top image is closest to the real thing, colorwise.

Current software looks like this: (actual screen capture taken directly from the radio):

... AND JUST IN CASE ....

Go to the System -> Information screen and verify current software levels. Latest version of the 14MZ sofwtare is as follows:

WinCE: 4.02(0)
Editor: 1.0.10
Encoder: 1.31

If you have anything different, check with your region service group and they'll provide you with the latest update software. You can get the software that came out from Hobbico and Robbe (they're identical) my site: http://www.rcfan.com/radios.html , but I recommend you first try your official service group.

Same post on the other forum. But says the poster's name is Akio Miyata and the location is Japan.

Post on Helifreak says the name is hirobo and location Brasil.

So which one is the truth?

David

I noticed that as well; didn't really matter much to me, but it is a bit odd.

You can also select different color schemes under "SYSTEM" -->> "DISPLAY"

The differences you show are mostly in the contrast and reproduction of the image on your computer screen.
