Ok last weekend I landed a little to hard and the blades struk the boom. The estimate to repair is between $120 and 140. I was kinda thinking of just buying another Hawk and using the first one for spare parts. But then I got to thinking. What about a Raptor? I know I would be starting over and the Raptor is more expensive. I have read that parts for the Raptor are less expensive though. Anyone have any input? I'll be ready to do make a move either way in about 3 weeks.

Nothing wrong with the Hawk. Nothing wrong with the Raptor either. It's all about what is easy to support (pricing and availability). If the pilots around you are flying Hawks, get another Hawk or repair the one you got. If the pilots around you are flying Raptor, get a Raptor.

Well since you already have all the electronics and engine getting either a raptor or evo really would not cost that much and both are great flying machines.

Is the Evo available in a 30 size? I thought it was just a 50.

Get another Hawk Kit! I ran into the same thing. There wasnt but one other heli pilot in my club & he flew Raptors so I pondered the same question but what influinced my decision is I all ready had a flying er once flying Hawk, all it needed was a few parts (over $100 worth) & you can get another kit for around $200. The price for a Raptor kit was around $290! By keeping a spare Hawk kit around I use parts out of it as there needed  & get the heli back in the air pretty quick & order the parts to replace them as time & pocket allows. When it comes time for a major overhaul I'll put the other kit together & if the price for all the worn stuff in the old one is more than about 50% of the kit price I'll just get another kit, save what parts are good from the first one & trash the rest.
Good luck in what you choose & keep in mind that heli brands dont make good pilots, burning fuel makes good pilots!

I ended up buying another Hawk. I decided to disassemble this one down to bits and build it myself. I'm not totally convinced my last crash was my fault. I think one of the ARF built parts may have come apart and caused it to wad up like it did. Plus I have been reading about doing the extra bb mod to the idle shaft. On the drive pins for the tail the Raptor guys put brass sleeves or heat shrink tube just in case the set screws come out. So I might try that one too. One of my pins on the Hawk that crashed was loose.
I'm also selling my Blade CPP and my HDX300 so I can pick up a TRex 450SE.
