Got this on a recent purchase and I am not a big fan of bright colors. I am more a traditional Align canopy guy. Open to offers......these retail for $160 just to give you an idea of what it cost originally. Handmade FG canopy and hand painted. Looks beautiful. Craftsmanship is like no other.

Here is a link to the manufacturer and exactly what it looks like.

These are not mass produced like Canomods or CanopyFX. They are made to order.

Is it for the E or N?

Looks like an E. Looks like someone took basic rattle-can colors and did it over the white/black blank fuselage that Align sells. I'm not talking it down, it's just a very simple fade plus the lettering.

The arizonaheli.com canopies are handmade in a fiberglass mold and then painted by a highly skilled airbrush artist named Bill Ludwig. He has trained with such airbrush artists as Mike Lavallee....who painted for Chip Foose...the world renown hotrod guy.

This canopy is far from a spray can job in someone’s garage. The company has been around for years and experienced heli builders know the quality of these canopies. They are thicker, stronger and have a more durable finish. Also more room to fit the lipo. Hence the higher cost. The color scheme is simple but not cheap.

If you’re gonna post arrogant comments like that...please do your homework first.

Here is the website.

I'm not trying to be arrogant. I simply stated that the canopy looks virtually identical (if not actually identical) to the Align part's shape. I am also saying that the paint design is done in a few simple tape-and-spray layers, plus the lettering. It doesn't matter if Julia Childs cooked the meal, if the ingredients are Velveeta and elbow pasta, it's mac & cheese.

I have owned both the stock and now this canopy. The stock is much thinner and has less head room for the 6s lipo. This allows for better placement and resulting in better CG.
Although they do look similar, Bill is a painter, not someone out to reinvent the wheel. Why should a decent Align design not be copied? Since his are made in a mold, I am sure they have subtle differences.
Canomod, CanpyFX, and even the clones copy Align. The design is proven but how it is constructed and the material used is what varies.

It’s not how the mac and cheese looks that is the debate, its where the ingredients where purchased from and the talent that made it. I guarantee the finish in this canopy is far better than many do-it-your-self painters could accomplish. It’s flawless.

I can buy Trex 450 Pro or an exact clone. You will know the difference one way or another.

Like I said, the color scheme is simple as far as originality goes but it’s done professionally and made to order. These are not mass produced!!! Not everyone prefers flash to prove they have a quality canopy.

Here are some comments on Bill's work:

To each his own. We all spend our money differently. Consider it unnecessary bling.

Only reason I am selling is b/c my eyesight is fine and I do not need bright colors to see orientation. I have a T-Rex fleet and I am trying to keep the canopy colors similar throughout.

Sounds arrogant to me. It seems like a simple APPOLOGY would have been the right/man thing to do. Your reply was just as bad as your 1st post. Besides why defend stupidity??

Glad to see you're picking on someone else.

Hey Tony, lets get some some paint cans and spray the Z06. Everyone can be an artist with a stock canopy and a garage. :)

Yeah but even if we had the best custom painter in the world custom paint it, he would say oh its just a Z06 with some "RATTLE CAN" paint over it. hehe

You should put it on Ebay if it doesnt sell soon. More traffic there this time of the year.
Dont get me wrong, I love HF and always offer at the forums like this 1st before Ebay. .
