beside`s normal ware, the only time i had a tail case bearing in the plastic case fail was do to the spacer`s being to wide, this put to much side preasure on the bearing`s cause them to over heat and lock up. which did result in the bearing chewing up the case.
Are you talking about the brass stock bushings?

Are you talking about the brass stock bushings?
yes,
i have found some longer than other`s, thus causeing binding after tightening down the case.
so after finding a set that will allow me to snug the case up properlly, i reuse them time after time. i have yet to have another bearing issue in the tail.

Had the bearing melt the plastic on the on the stock tailcase too.
OK.. Got my new bearings on and the vibe is almost gone, but still not good.
I see now that the tailshaft is bent a bit after it's hard wibe on the old bearings, and guess what.....There out of stock at my local dealer :arggg: ALU and stock ones.
So ordering some ALU ones from the net. hope they come before Xmas.
Also putting in a new taildrive polley too, just to be sure.

OK.. Finaly got the bird in 100% working order after allot of headakes.
One thing I found out about the blade, is running only with blades on the tail and nothing on the head at high speed(idle up) is no good. It will never be balanced enough to run at the speed I'm getting from my 35Amp ESC and 25C pack.
So what I did was I got sick of playing with the tail so I decided to move on and put on the rest of the head. After setting up the head I thought I'd just spin her up.
And what happened.... The wibe of destruction I got in idleUp before was gone:shock:
So the only thing I could think of fixing my loooooong issue was something in the head was canceling out the wibe in the tail.
Looking on the positive side of this except for fixing it is that I got allot of new fresh part on it now:thumbup:
New bearings all around, belt, alu tail driveshaft, alu tailgrips(2.nd pair), main gear, main tail drive gear and some other small stuff.
So now I'm waiting for warmer weather ;)
And thanks for all the input guys :noteworthy
PS..Post some new pic of my pride soon:P
