Default Which SE upgrades for V1 ?

Now that the SE version is out, which parts of that heli can be used to upgrade a V1 version ?

For example, could I use a Carbon Fiber Tail Boom in the V1 ?

All of the SE parts are replacements for the V1 and vice-versa. The SE parts are only a bit sturdier. The SE tail grips have more counterbalance than the latest V1 grips. The one exception is the canopy. The SE canopies as well as the yellow lightning canopy are slightly larger. So, if you switch to an original canopy from one of those the batteries (non Align) may not fit.

Good thing you mentioned the paddles. They are slightly larger on the SE.

They've updated the frame opening for the servos (added a notch) and now require the Align mounts.

The Anti-Rotation Bracket has been beefed up, as well.

Either show up as parts anywhere, though.

I changed out both sets of mixing/washout arms, the swash, and the paddles. I was a bit disappointed that the SE upper mixing arms didn't include the tiny 1.5x3x0.2mm washer.

At first I didn't notice, I just took of the V1 mixing arm and tightened the new SE arm on, but it would barely move. The tiny washer was still stuck on the V1 mixing arm. After I pried it off and used it with the SE mixing arm I had ZERO slop and silky smooth movement.

While I had the head apart, I went in and re-leveled the head (it was a bit off) and adjusted for zero pitch at mid stick.

I thought I did it right the first time, but after watching more of Bob's videos I needed to shorten some of my control rods to make sure that the mixing arms were parallel. They were only off by two turns on all of the cyclic control rods, but I'm glad I was able to get everything nice and level. I hope it makes it fly better.
