So on 12s it recommends the Scorpion 4025-550kv and a HV80a esc. It also lists a 25c battery rating but wouldn't 20C be enough? When you do the math (2) 3amp hour lipos x 20C = 120amps. So those two lipos together can handle 50% higher than 80a esc! A 15C technically gives you 90amps so that would be enough too. I'm asking because HK has some cheap 3000mAh 20C lipos at $23 so two of them is under $50 :YeaBaby:
What kind of flight time on a 12s 3000mah vs 3300mah would you expect for sport flying mixed with some 3D?

correct me if I'm wrong but since it's in series it is really a 12s 3000. 20c would then make it only 60 amps cont. a little under the max cont of the motor which I think is 65amps.

You can't add current in series, only in parallel.
For example, a 2S,3Ah pack is not two 1.5Ah cells, but really two 3Ah cells.

yup, I realized that once I started to read the responses so really need a 30C (3a/hr) = 90amps which would be enough

keep in mind...at 12S...your amps are not going to be like what you see on a 6S machine...also the 20C is continuous...you most likely will never put a continuous 60A pull on a 12S Fusion 50.
Now I fly pretty much the same flight whether I am flying my Gaui X5 or my Bergen Turbine...sooo...here is what I am seeing from data logs of my Outrage 550 6S machine...and my Trex700e 12S machine.
For my Trex 700 on 12S 5000mAh packs I see peak amps of about 105A with "average" Amp draw over an entire flight of less than 45A...
NOW>>>for my Outrage 550 on 6S 5000mAh packs flying the same style flight I am seeing 170A peaks and over 60A average draw through out the flight...
Huge difference between 6S and 12S when it comes to power...the smaller and lighter Outrage 550 would really put a hurting on a 20C 6S 5000mAh Pack...but I could run the same 20C packs in a 12S system on a much larger heli and get good performance...
so...that is why the Fusion on 12S states is can fly great on 25C packs...and probably for non-hardcore 3D pilots...probably pretty dang good on 20C packs...
Although I won't purchase and fly them...I would love to hear how the HK 20C's fly on 12S...as like you said...man...less that $50 for a flt pack!

Looking at manual exploded diagram I've noticed that compared to Velocity50 and other helis Outrage has changed their proven tail pitch slider system - less bearings in the arms, simplified slider pulling assembly. Is it better or worse? Personally I like original slider design although haven't flown it yet on my 450PRO.

personally i like the look of the new one. should completely avoid the binding people had unless the tail was 100% spot on-time will tell though how it compares but i'd take that design right now on my 90 vels.
cheers

this kit is before series "pré-series"
the final version should be very similar,

does there seem like a enough room on the FBL gryo tray for a Beast x cause the wires can only come out facing the front or back unlike my 720 were it can mount in any direction with the wires coming out the side
im worried theres gunna be huge pile of wire there ...even worth with fusion cause you prob only need a few inches of servo wire since the servos are so close up front

Motor mount is not adjustable ?
last comment removed...
I was wrong, you can slide the motor mount in the frames to get the mesh

Motor mount is not adjustable
it probably is the four screws on the motor mount you can prob have back and forth play just like the velocity clutch pinion for mesh

Motor mount is not adjustable
there are slots in the frames where the motor mount goes so you slide the whole motor mount plate with motor shaft support block.
edit: I might be wrong too

the motor is attached with 4 screws but it does not move on the motor-mount.
the motor-mount move on frame and on the midle bearing block

for mounting the motor with 6mm axle just change 1 bearing
5x13x4 by 6x13x4

Does the kit include the bearing? Or is that another part I need to order to make the 6mm shaft fit?

i don't know if Outrage sells just the bearing 6x13x4 or "aluminium support+bearing "
but it's possible of change just the bearing

Hmm, ok thanks. I have 6mm pinion support and pinion gears on my preorder as well, so I hope that's all I need.

For 12s which is better or what is the difference between the HK-4035-500 and the HK-4025-550?!?!?!?
