The pitch axis rebound when I would like to stop the heli quikly !!That can happen if you are using mounting tape that is too soft, since it allows the unit to rebound (which makes the heli rebound). Try harder tape, or strap the unit down and see if it works better.

I have to say - I installed mine on the side and used the stiff tape they delivered. I completely agree on JustPlaneChris (http://www.helifreak.com/member.php?u=11059) comments.

Hi !!!

Yes of course, I've forgotten that I can strap it !!!
I'm going to try this solution as soon as the sun appears !!
I use already the stiff tape....

I agree that the setup depends on blade, servo, blades,.... but my P1 is @110% and the P2 @40% !!!

I will tell you the difference i notice with the strap !!

Thank you very much !!!

Wanted to ask .. I set up my cc esc with Hyperion 740kv motor with 14t head speed 1950, 2150, 2250 but the software day I'm running around 82% efficiency .. Will that damage any thing would should I do? It should be 92-95 efficiency ??

Don't worry, it won't lead to damage !!! What is the temperature ?

I'm very desperate !! I've done nothing on the heli and the vibration appear again ! I haven't touch anything !! I don't understand !!
I know that the motor is 630Kv, and i use it with a 12T ! The throttle curve is 57% and it is recommended to have about 70%. Perhaps is the problem for my arresting but not for my vibrations !!!

Thank a lot

@kevinbj1 (http://www.helifreak.com/member.php?u=35624) -> also Outrage recommends 2200 max head speed. 2250 will give you a nice kick and you should have no issues with it. Running mine at about 2300 rpm at idle up 2 and 2100 at idle up 1. It is a real beast. Have not had any issues with that setup (so I had one when the mesh was to much and temp running at 2700 rpm in hover to measure head speed).
So if you have tight mesh setup and 2250 -> should run outstanding.

Hi Men !!

I've found the issue !!!!
The gain of the P1 was too hight (now it is about 80% in stead of 110%) !!! By reducing it, the rebounds of the tail has disappeared. But it isn't perfect yet ! So i will glue a carbon fiber plate on the gyro mount ! The pad i use is too soft (it is the 3D pad sold with the MB !!! :S ), so i will also change it with a 3M pad !! :banana:banana:banana:banana
Furthermore, the vibrations with a low HS has disappeared too !!! GREAT !!!!

I will make these changes this week and try it in next week

Thank you all for your investment !!!

Have a good flights !!!!

Are those Quick UK links? If so, how on Earth did you get the Quick UK Links to work? I bought some from RH and turns out they are for 3/16 balls - 4.76mm. They have MAJOR slop on Fusion balls.

no slop on mine there a perfect fit  just double checked after i read your post and im tugging on them back and forth and no play at all

Take them off and test one at a time, unless your balls are all bigger than mine:lol:. The one direction they are terribly loose, the other is not nearly as bad and difficult to detect but its there. Dont get me wrong, I wanted to use the links..I like them and color choices too. I just could not bring myself to do it after testing 4 or 5 and seeing and feeling the freedom of movement.
Here is a vid....hard to see in both directions but its there.
And of course a lot of play IMO may not be much at all in your opinion, but its there and you dont want any.

just did the same with mine and mine has some movement but hard to really even tell but your up and down play is more then mine...but i asked the same question also a while back about how they move so freely when you let them dangle and everyone said thats normal long as they pop on good and can't pop off easily ..

.Honestly i would use the ones you got as long and they pop on the ball hard and as long as they can't be popped off with your fingers with little effort...

and i use them on my Align heli's and there just the same

AnTi Taco
03-21-2011, 03:33 PM
plus all align helis are 4.75 mm and these links are made for the aligns it says even though they say to be used with 4.76 don't think there even such a size or its a mis print....i would just use them or if your really worried just get align balls but there the same as outrage im guessing

also just checked y t-rex 500 with the 4.75 balls and there the same as the outrage with tiny bit of play

I am not worried at all about them popping off, its the play that bothers me. I put so much effort into setting up a slop free, precision head and go out of my way to find servos that are are slop free its just a kick in the face of all my efforts to put on an "upgrade" that then introduces slop. youll be seeing bags of new links in the classifieds shortly - :)

They say 4.75 in the specs but are more like 4.71-4.72
I have complained already about my balls...lol and how they are not up to par IMO.
:lolol

See, deep down you know its not right.:YeaBaby: You even started a thread about it. Lately I seem to be on a bi**h fest, maybe its the full moon I dont know. OR maybe its really penny upgrades being peddled for way more than they are worth. I am probably out numbered on this one but to each his own. Just certain QC issues I have had lately have left me feeling a little down.

lol i was worried too but after i see how tight the pop on and off i stopped worrying ...

BTW what the hell made you get the Black ones when they have all the cool colors :)

AnTi Taco

once you actually put them on and snap them to balls theres no more play...you should hook up one servo with all the Quick UK links and see what i mean

i wanna get the Blue ones for my 6HV but all the colors are sold out everywhere...got red and orange also but think the red look better and seen blue ones in person and there sweet looking too

All yours are the short versions? All the ones I bought are the long versions...I may still give them a try.

Actually this is not the case. The T-REX 700 is 5mm balls (although they do have the odd 4.75 one in there like on the throttle i believe). This could be why there is play on the gentleman's balls (usually a good thing! ;) ). Its possible you have QuickUK Links for the T-REX 700 and have them on a 4.75mm ball.

Worth checking. :)
