if you running 12s get the CC80HV thats all you need and either the 630kv or 550kv seems to be whats gonna be widely used
yep I will be running 12s... Thanks for the suggestions guys...

This lipo can fit in the fusion 50? is very close to the 3300mAh in size.

It may fit, but the heli would fly pretty heavy with packs that big, flight times would be great though

diference from 3300 to 3700 is just 57 Grams per pack = 114G using a 12S setup
I was looking the Turnigys nano-tech but are only 25C :(

True, but the 3300's are already at the top of the size range. I'm sure it will still perform great, but it will be somewhat noticeable.

But won't the power/weight still be off the chart compared to nitro?

what is the average of flight time with 3300mAh and scorpion 4025-550? or is better the 4025-630?
the nano-tech 25C are good for mild 3D?
(tictocs, funels, pyro flips, huricanes)

Yes, but nothing can make a heli feel floaty and powerful like a light disc loading. Best thing you can do is try different battery setups and use what you like. It's going to fly great regardless

i was thinking for the fusion to get even more flight times the VOLTS 3700mah 35c would be good to get also but any of the NANO 25c in series is a great choice for any 12s heli... UNLESS you plan on using the lipos in say a 500 then the 25c will start to mattter

4025-550 vs 4025-630
4025-550 (2850W max) 65 amps
4025-630 (2700W max) 65 amps
I like the video with the 4025-550 but 4 minutes flight time are bad with 3300mAh
that's why I need to choose from the Velocity 50 or Fusion 50

The 4025-550 was developed as an upgrade to the -630.

Since I am not completely sure about the motor options but 12S seems a great setup I will go with Kontronik ESC 80HV and Pyro 700-520 motor. I thought of using Neu mnotor in it but still am not sure about if it fits or not. So worse case scenario I still can use that motor in the TRex 700E later. I may have to use a larger pinion for this motor. So I will see into that. At least I have all electronics on order now and should be ready to go as soon as the kit gets to my place.

We need the battery tray maximun size, I don't know if the 3700mAh can fit, but if the nano-tech 4000mAH 45C can fit this is the line I want to go.

the 3700mah Volts fit on a t-rex 500 with the v2 frame so this is just a guess but if they can fit on the 500 they should work on the Fusion plus it looks like theres a ton of room for lipos over 3300...but maybe the weight might cause a issue of anything over 3300 i guess as lipo Tech gets better they will get smaller and hopefully they will have 5000mah that are the size of 3300 in the future

i will buy the FUSION 50, when arrived in French importator (i live 10 miles)
but i've a question for motor , why no use the scorpion motor 4035- 550 or 4225 610KV
best regard,
Dimitri
The 4025 is designed for the 550-600 class, the 4035 is designed for 700s. The dimensions are nearly the same however the 4035 is 10mm longer, and over 100g heavier then the 4025.

you can but your flight times are gunna suck and its adds weight..if you look back in the thread the designer of the heli says the 4025-550kv through 600kv is ideal cause of your pinion options

thank for your response ,
i've a T-rex 550 equipped with 4025-1100KV ,
if possible to use à 2 battery 4000 mah 6S on Fusion 50 or the weight is too heavy.

The 4035 has more torque than the 4025, due to the larger diameter. So what I'm thinking is a 4035 with a larger pinion, running at a lower speed (not reducing head speed), to extend flight times.
