Hey all,

I have been trying to get an answer about my JR radio for a month now and nobody can give me a straight answer or at least one that I understand :)

I have a Corona with a JR 500T gyro and a XF421EX 5 CH radio. It's all hooked up fine, but I have no clue where HH (75%) or non-HH (30%) is located on a scale of 0-150% positive and 0-150% negative is located.

It's hooked up to 5 (gear channel) Could someone please tell me what percentages to start at please.

Also, because I am using remote gain, do I need to adjust the pot on the gyro? It's still at the factory setting and I have not touched it.

Oh ya, I am using an HS81 for the tail and I can not get this tail wag under control.

Thanks,
theLane

My XF421 is for plankers only bro! the only mixing on mine is for flaperons! The 0-150% is to adjust servo throw.
As I am only flying a fixed pitch heli at this time, I would assume you adjust the channel 5 throw to -75 and + 30, then play with it from there to get the gyro gain right. But how are you doing throttle hold? on the reflex sim, I have to create a bogus chanel 6 for gyro and put the thr hold on gear channel 5 and then force the gyro to go to -110 to get it to track right so I can pratice Auto's!

I'm not using throttle hold. I fly a Corona.
