View Full Version : circle stick forward --> main blades tilt to the left..

..and to the right if I pull the stick backwards.
Is that a cause of axial play in the rotor head and the sheer pin? If I understand it right the flybars will have wrong angles at the wrong place?!
If I hold the main gear still I can turn the flybars 2 cm.

when your blade are not turning and you move the cyclic fwd your swashplate tilts to the left?

No, I was not clear enough. Of course when the rotor is spinning. If I look from behind the blades tip forward (as they should) but also to the left.

So when you move it fwd its goes fwd but a little to the left?Is that Right?

Yes, and to the right when I move it backwards.

Blue, which gyro?? If you're referring to the 611 I plan on getting for my Trex 600, I still haven't ordered it. Just bought my TP1010C charger the other day so the gyro needs to wait for 10/1's paycheck. :) Once I've got that in hand, I'll have all the pieces to put 'er in the air.
Oh and BTW it's "Geddy" :)

Yeah, I like Rush a lot too. Can't wait for their new stuff to come out a bit later this year. I think Limelight is my favorite Rush song. The whole Moving Pictures album kicks ass...
