Help! I am converting a Blade cp to a scale Huey Gunship. I will need a new main shaft 5 1/8 inches. Anyone know who could make one up for me?

Gary, I wanted some harder Main Shafts for HDX300 when they weren't currently available. So I Bought some 3mm Dia. Raptor Fly bars and just cut them to size with my Dremel. This should work for your setup.

papajulliet Thanks for the info. The raptor shaft is a perfect diameter. I couldn't find a 040 drill bit strong enough to drill it for the holding pin so cut a notch. Hope it works

Hope it worksDo you have a Harbor Freight store where you live? They have a small bit set from .060 to .035 for a less than ten bucks. They're decent bits. They also sell a 115 piece set of coated bits for IIRC $39. That's the set I use to drill mine. The key to drilling these tiny holes is slow feed rate at 1600-2000 rpm. I also oil the bit while drilling to keep it cool.
