Ok, I took my Extreme apart. I thought my engine was out of alignment, but it turned out my clutch driver was going off at an angle. The starter shaft was also spinning free in the driver. I took the whole assy. apart, and guess what? Nothing seems out of whack. The bearing is notchy, but not out of line. The bearing block is not wallowed out. You can see where the bearing block was hitting the clutch driver, though. How can the clutch driver go sideways enough to hit the bearing block and not have any visable affect on the other parts? What am I missing? The pins and derlin ball slide snugly into the fan, the fan is dead on, less than .001 runout, dampners are new.
Any ideas? I can't sell this heli knowing it has this problem. I will be replacing the whole unit, as the clutch looks like it took a lot of heat, and I will be upgrading to the HD clutch, but is there anything I am missing here?

I don't think you did anything wrong.
I have a Fury Expert that has the same type of assembly. Either your engine just didn't align with the clutch driver
or
it was just a simple Manufacturer's fault.
When you get the new HD system, leave the clutch dampers out of their slots 1st.
Then set the engine low on the Engine blocks and slide it up. See if the ball wants to go clean into the fan hole.
My guess is that they might not line up properly and you might need shims between the engine and the engine mount.
