i would think thunder power would probably be better but this battery is 20.00 from helidirect. 30.00 with a charger. cant really beat that. thunder power is about twice as much.

yeah i dont think it will fit on a cx. besides you dont need the power of 11.1 volt in a FP heli. all your gonna do is burn out your motors faster

hey sikorskys76 is that your (full scale)heli in your avatar or is that a heli you fly for a job? those are amazingly smooth and quiet and just a joy to fly.

well im 16 but my dads friend from high school is an air ambulance pilot for south florida. and i got to go up in one about 2 weeks ago on his day off. and he let me fly and it is very easy to fly. atleast i thought. but i've wanted to be a real pilot since i was about 8 and have spent countless hours playing games like Microsoft Flight sim 2004 just flying helis. so i knew the dontrols almost instantly so it was easy for me to pick up.

My Twister/Blade CP clone thing now has a 1250 mAh 3s pack - a bit heavy, but it flys.

I hated flying IFR but i think im kinda getting used to it. hovering is kinda easy too, and im not landing it yet. those are way to expensive for me. takeoffs are nervous but possible for me.

YOu mean on the simulator?

wcc963

yeah the sim is easier there is no fear of a crash or anything. the real thing is definetly harder due to wind correction and troque and all the other things that just dont want helicopters to fly. the only thing i have done in the real thing is forward flight. and it was only for a short time. the sim is fun though

wat r u talking about. were talking about flying real helicopters on a full size sim. and in real life. so the blade cx has nothing to do with this conversation. i have a rex i have no time or money for a cx.

The Twister gives 15 mins with a good safety margin on 1250mAh

that pretty good....i ordered 2x 1300mah and with my 1000 and 800 that i already have i should be good for a while.

I just bought the blade cx too and was wondering what would be the max size for that?
