It has really good compression! Yesterday I stripped a first generation TT 6mm starting wand while cranking it :? After cranking it with a fellow club member's starter, it ran great until it got hot. I think it was set a bit too lean this time. The tygon pressure tap line that goes from the crankcase tap to the carburetor pump came off when it got hot, leaning it out even further. The tygon will have to be replaced with black neoprene instead for heat resistance. Some additional air baffles might be needed to direct more cooling air over the head and cylinder. It has tons of air blowing over the left side, but very little blowing over the right. I still think this will be a killer combo as long as the overheating doesn't become an issue. We'll see what the baffles do.

It is swinging TT carbon 710s at around 1500. The camera I've got on it is the Nikon CP8800, which takes great pictures but when using the Gent LED shutter trigger, has a long 3-4 sec delay. I think an SLR with a board camera looking through the viewfinder is the way to go.

Excellent work! Very good looking rig. I've been curious about such a front mount on a gasser. Maybe I'll run into you sometime and get to see it in person...

Hey Miami6, you are absolutely write about the IR. It is agonizingly slow! You get the picture framed just right, pull the trigger, then ........ it finally snaps and the camera had moved.

Thanks Wes, it's been a fun project for me and Johndale who has helped with it a TON! Athens, yeah we're just a rocks throw. How bout that Freshwater Fisheries Center! I used to work for TPWD and had the chance to work there when it first opened back in '96. Actually, that would be a interesting photo shoot and TPWD would love to have some aerials if they don't already have them. Look me up when you come to Cowtown.

I've checked into a photoshoot at the fishery center and I'm hopeful to start shooting sometime in October then again in May or June next year. Just waiting on approval...

If you're going to the Alliance Air Show maybe we'll run into each other...
