If you have the charger that it comes with then it only fits the battery one way. Also, the instructions state not to leave the battery unattented when charging and that it should only take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to fully charge a battery.

the battery has dean connecters. you are going to need to go to your lhs and get a female dean connecter and solder it up. the white line is your positive.

So do i have to change it on charger or battery? because i have dean connecters on the heli too.

If I have to solder it up then i need a male dean connector for the charger.

And are the dean connecters good ?

change the connecter on the charger. keep the deans connecters. imo, they are the best on the market.

the battery is the female connecter, and you need the male for the charger.

Yeah the Deans are the best. I personally made a couple of different ends for my charger so i can charge a few different packs and my radios too.

I'm a little concerned about charging NiMH's with that charger. Unless that thing has a peak-detect circuit, it seem to me you're going to destroy those batteries in a hurry. I'd be even more worried about charging LiPo's with it.

Well my friend was charging LiPo's with the deans connectrs.

Sounds pretty dangerous. Charging NiMH's with the wrong type of charger can destroy the batteries in a hurry. Charging LiPo's with the wrong charger can burn down your house in a hurry.

It sure doesn't look like a NIMH charger. If it is a NIMH charger your friend shouldn't have been charging LiPO's with it. Can you post a better picture of the charger so we can see the label?

At some point consider a better charger. If for no other reason than you can recharge faster and fly more. :)

I made up adapters to charge packs with Deans, Micro Deans, JST, etc, and even my TX battery (Hitec). You can just use Deans females, some bits of wire and then male versions of the various ones you use.

Deans are great, but IMO overkill for a Blade. Micro Deans would be better and step up from JST connectors, which are pretty worthless.

I'll use deans connoctor and maybe later ill try micro ones.

I too was a little confused thinkin he was charging or goin to try and charge a lipo with this charger. I re-read the post and noticed that it is a Ni-cd or Nimh pack in the pic not a lipo.
