Swift tail pitch slider ball dosen't snap into the the hole

Hey guys, having some trouble putting my Swift kit together. For the life of me, I do not see how the plastic ball on the pitch slider base pops into the pitch slider lever. Either the hole is too small or the ball is too big. Anyone know what's up?

i used some dielectric grease and some ball link pliers very tight but goes in

Nice, I ended up using ball link resizer and it popped right in.
