KSJ used to have a CF stacked frame conversion for the Evo 50 that you could see at the now-renamed RC Helis Plus. However, when I tried to pull it up at the new Advantage Hobby website (formerly RC Helis Plus), it's not in the listing anymore.

Nidach Products makes a similar conversion for the Evo, but I can't get them to respond to any emails about U.S. pricing, replacement parts, or shipping costs.

I know there's a supposed Hirobo EX-version Evo 50 coming at some point, but to date I can't find any more information on it.

Does anyone know of other stacked frame conversions for the Evo?

Don't know of any others but I rember the KSJ ones being in the $350-400 range.

Yeah, that was the downfall. Given that it appeared to use the stock collective arm and other pieces, I was surprised that it was so expensive.

The Nidach conversion looks nice enough, but I don't know anyone who has one, I've not seen a review of one, and like I said, I can't get them to respond to any emails.

*sigh* That seems to be the one drawback to Hirobo products. For some reason, the aftermarket doesn't seem to flock to them like it does those other "r-word" helicopters.

Because they don't need them silly.

If you want an electric Sceadu there is the Proton frame set (not stacked)

:WTF: I said electric? Why would I want electric?

Nitro people fly stacked frame helicopters too, you know.

I just saw the new CF frame they are coming out with at the iHobby expo. I held it in my grubby little hands, and it was nicer looking than the aftermarket one that I saw. It was SWEET.
Jeff told me price point was in the 600 - 700 range, but I am assuming this was for the whole heli, nobody would pay that for just a frame.
I wish I had some images to go with my words, but my dumb self forgot my camera.

Charley (Rotorworkz) has been toying around with the idea of building some for a while. It may motivate him a little more if he knew there would be a market. :glasses2:
