My Lepton took to the air for the first time this week. I must say I really am pleased with the way it flies, crisp, true and responsive. Flys much like my 90 glow and power is great. I did notice the power falls off after about 3.5 minutes of flying, not a great deal but still it lacks the same punch as earlier in the flight. I think the EVO Flight Power may hold voltage a little better the the hyperions. Only thing it needs now is a STUKA fan. Motor temp after about 6 minutes is roughly 150-160 on the can. Measured temp on the windings is 175 - 180. My set up is below, thanks for all the advice and testin you guys did, it makes things nice to get this close on the first setup.

Hyperion 10T
Hyperion 4S 3700
24t Pinion
Airtronics 94761Z Servos
GY401 w/ 9254
68mm tail blades trimmed to 62mm
Kool flight BEC 5V 3 amp
jazz 55-10-32
MJP lift kit
MJP ESC mount
MJP stretched fin set (When it finally arrives)

I just maidened my lepton this week as well and I got to say I love how it flies! It is very stable and has tons of power. I am still going easy on it as I want to break in the lipos as gently as possible. My setup is nearly the same as yours, except I am running the 3102 for cyclic and the Hyperion 12T. My only concern is that after a 3min flight, my 9254 tail servo is hot to the touch, I measured an outside case temp of 114F. I don't know if this is normal but it does bother me, does your 9254 run this hot? I am not running a BEC so all the servos are seeing 4.8V

My tail servo isn't getting hot. Check the freedom of movement of the pitch slider, mine would be free and when the slider rotated in the arm at a specific loaction would cause it to bind.. I had to file the groove in the slider just a small amount to remove the burs at the parting line in the plastic. Hope this helps, how hot is your 12 turn motor running?

its running around 140+ with ambient temps around 85.

Dave,
what is your flight time with those batteries? and headspeed?

6 to 6.5 Minutes, of moderate 3D. Headspeed is approx 2900. Flys really nice but I would like more duration.
