I've made it through the first gallon of fuel in the Hanson modified G26. Was running 6 oz of oil and it was running kind of rich. Even fouled a plug. Now with the second gallon I am thinking of going down to 4 oz of oil. I am using Castrol Full Syn because I can't get Penzoil here. Anyone think it's too soon to go down to 4 oz? Also when does it get less nerve rackng to fly the EB? I am smooth on the RF3 sim, but kinda of jumpy in the air. Hovers great, three point fine, still nervous in nose in, but it's getting better.
This is the best flying Heli I've ever flown, my raptors are getting dust on them.

It is the best flying heli out there!
All I can tell you about your oil mixture is what Gary Travis, sponsored Bergen pilot, told me to do. He uses Blue Marble oil and mixes 5 oz to a gallon always. You should be able to find Blue Marble at any high-end motorcycle shop. Or go to their website for a list of dealers in your area. I've gone through about 4 gallons on my Zenoah G26 with this method and have never had a prob with the engine or plug.
It's always going to be a bit nerver racking to fly the EB, I think. Just cause no matter how good I get. It's a big heli, and I know that it's going to make a big boom if it comes down. That's always going to be in the back of my mind.

I'm still waiting for it to stop being nerve racking, too :D I will say that it has stopped looking like a flying $. I agree with Brady...it's probably the big heli boom factor that always keeps us on edge. I can say (after recent engine out) it autos like a champ! Even with the camera rig underneath, it came down better than my R50. My customer didn't even know anything went wrong
