So I was working on some of the final setup of my "from scratch" camera ship using mostly Gohbee parts.

What I've run into is that the Gohbee head puts the flybar below the main rotor...where it is free to rotate into the plane of the panning gear on the DJ Raptorcam mount. :O

Well...my contingency for this was that my play raptor would get the metal gohbee head and I'll be shopping for a metal headblock/grips for the camera ship. :P

DJ seems to love the kasama head if you have the $$$$. Good luck!

wait! there is a solution that will buy you some more space. I had the same issue with my Joker with its moving flybar system

flip the servo mount upside down and run the pan pulley underneath. You'll need to put some spacers on your landing gear for the extra needed clearance or just use a Vario Benzine gear like I do.

Interesting. Will have to play with that. Thanks for the tip.

Hmmmm. The paddles can still, in extreme cases, smack the top arm of the mount even if I flip the servo mount over.

I would not consider it likely....but it could happen.

Upon further review...my solution may be as simple as shorter (or shortening) the flybar paddles.

The stock ones are similar to stock raptor paddles...stock ones are like the raptors - 95mm overall.

Even 5mm shorter would probably do the trick...combined with the inversion of the pan servo and pulley.

That...or clearancing a divot through the frame after the servo mount is out of the way. :O
