I am following along the FINLESS videos to build my new HDX 300...but when i get to the part on the FRAMES where you put the pulleys on the back I am having problems... How are the pulleys put together?

There is the dog bone piece, the bearing and the sleeve...The bearing is a tight fit in the sleeve...how far is it supposed to go in the sleeve...How do I get it in there right :( Then the sleeve it seems on the video slips right over the dog bone thing like an axle with the bearing inside...HOWEVER ...Not here...the sleeve does not want to fit over the dog bone part even without the bearing in there....

Do I have to sand the dog bone thing down so the belt guide will fit down over it...shouldn't it just fit? What screw is used in there etc...

Yes i am pretty lost and barely out of the gate...but just don't want to jam it all together and have it welded like that...because it definitely isn't spinning freely like Bobs on his video...

Help for newb model assembler needed~

THANKS!!

What ya have to do is put the bearing in the pulley end that it will slip in just a little past flush...Then screw it into the dog bone tight thus pulling the bearing down a bit doing this...then back the screw out a bit and the pulley is spinning free then and on to the next step...er problem...LOL

Wish I would have thought of it earlier :)

Zero instructions included with the HDX 300 ?

Thank God for Finless videos though!

No I was wrong again...Looking closely to the videos I saw that the pulleys weren't that long below the blue base and NO I don't put a dog bone thing there...those are frame spacers.....

The pulleys mount on those little threaded tubes...That's why Bob says hold the Phillips screw when tightening...

Instructions or an exploded drawing sure could have helped?

Jeesh...Hope I have right now? :arggg:

I got it Bob...I needed to mount the pulleys with those little threaded rods...not the frame spacers I was using LOL :arggg:

It would have been nice to have some sort of directions or at least an exploded diagram to go with when building the heli...

Does your HDX fly nice Bob?

I bent my tail output shaft by accident and I just got the replacement today. I will be flying the hdx300 this weekend!

I'll let ya know then.
