YS 91 on 8.45

1750-1850 is the range you would need to use.

1850 is really pushing the YS 91 on 8.45. That would be keeping the motor at 15,600 rpms. Powerband on the YS 91 is around 14,700 rpm up to about 15,100.

Im running 8.18 on th YS91 with 1950 Headspeed and it all good so far...Heeps of power!!!

Dont know why people keep saying YS has lower power band that OS,it has higher exhaust timing which will raise the engines power curve. I have seen a lot of YS engines at 15500 rpm and they run great. DOUG

I ran a YS 91 with a headspeed between 1800 and 1850. That seemed to work very well and that is with both the hatori and the curtis pipe
