Problems with direct drive tail motor

Has anyone successfully used a direct drive tail motor on a Blade cp?

Yep.

GWSF50H motor with GWS4350 props cut down to 3.875" (Take .375" off each end) with 3S LiPos works pretty well. I have the big black heatsink installed and the motor does get pretty warm after flying an entire 1320mah battery (a little over 20 mins) but not so bad you can't keep your finger on it.

A few folks said the're having good luck with the GWS3030 and 3020 props too. IMO the 4350 that comes with the DD kitis too much prop for the motor and causes it to overheat quickly.
