I've had a 14MZ for about a year. I never bothered to complain about it until last weekend. I was helping a friend programming his 14MZ. I noticed his touch screen was nice and sensetive. Mine is not. It has been this way since I purchased it. I gave up on it to the point I only use the rotary botton. Should I send it back for service. I am just afraid it will take too long to fix it; and I won't be able to fly all that period. what do you think? Or maybe there is something I can do to fix that.
I did the screen callaberation, id didn't help.

Call the service center and explain your problem.
They can also give you an idea of turnaround time.

Do as Jeff indicated. The service folks at Hobbico are very good at dealing with 14MZs and will send it back 2-day shipping. If you send it overnight on a Monday, chances are pretty good you'll get it back by end of the week. Worst case is you don't have it for one weekend, so if you plan for a week/weekend you know you won't be flying, then you'll be okay. Make sure you cover it with good insurance (it'll cost some, but worth it if it gets lost in the mail).

You might want to also calibrate the screen again. Mine came alive with a lot better sensitivity afterwards
