I'll lay day the ground rules when everyone arrives but if you guys see anyone doing something they shouldn't politely remind them they shouldn't be doing it. I'm only 1 guy so if you see stuff like that, and get an adverse response when reminding folks, PLEASE bring it to my attention!
I had planned on renting out golf carts but we decided that they were not needed. It's not THAT long of a walk to the end flight stations and I didn't want to put a ton of traffic on Mac's manicured grass. you CAN bring your own carts if you like, just be responsible.
Like David said, you guys are in for a REAL treat!. I'll post a pic of the grass in a few minutes to show you!

Terry,
Nice pictures from last year. I don't believe it will be shorts and Tshirt temps this year. Unless it changes drastically in next couple of days. <G> Looks like we will need light jackets at least.

Yeah man!
Forcast is for lows in the 40s at night (Has dipped into the 30s this week already) and His in the 65 range (High this week was 72 Yesterday). Bring a pair of shorts just in case but it should stay on the chilly side for the most part! Awesome weahter for flying!

90 percent chance of rain Friday :arggg: which of course is the only day I can go.
Looks like the rest of the weekend should be nice though.

Supposedly scattered showers in the late afternoon for the rain on Friday. It will probably cloudy but should still be able to fly the rest of the day.

I thought the glow sticks awesome. I'm sure we'll be coming up with more potato ideas for next year.

Hi Terry,
First thanks to you and all who helped for putting on another :clappp event. Had a really nice time and renewed a lot of old friendships.
I also wanted to publicly thank Gohbee Aviation for the wonderful prize they offered for your event. I was the lucky winner of the Gohbee Stinger 90 ARF kit. I called David and thanked him personally and wanted to let everyone here know that I appreciate his continuing efforts to support a hobby we all love.
Yes Eric, the potato gun was really neat. Guess Mac will have a new crop next year. Ha Ha I really appreciate all the time and trouble you took in helping others get their helicopters set up. And Yes, the Zero G demo was awesome.
Also, thanks to B & B Hobbies for helping out with the TREX 600 Kit that was raffled off. P.S. Bob breakfast and dinner were great. Thanks!
The event was top notch and can't wait until next year.
:D

Terry
Thanks for a great time, I even managed to get 3 flights on Fri. in between the rain. Always a good time meeting old friends & making new ones.
It was well worth the 5 1/2 hour drive.
Thanks again for all that made IRCHA SE a great event.
Hope to see all at Mulberry

Putting the glow stick in the potatoe gun was HOT Eric. But not as hot as that new Xero-G machine. That thing was W-I-C-K-E-D. This is Baron's best 50 so far IMHO. Super great flying machine!! Even with Matt SMACKING it in the rain!! I have no idea how he could see with the rain in his face like that???

Speaking of flaming potatoes, we could always use flaming lipos next year. I seem to remember UltraStick batteries do quite well at flaming.
Bert's night flying was insane. We stuck around all night Sat hoping to see some more but the rebuild didn't come quick enough. Sweet flying, just keep those blade stops off of my head next time. :motz

Thanks Will, If I could be 1/20th the pilot that Matt is....I would be :smokin:
It was somebody elses idea on the GLOW sticks, but that was cool. Maybe if I soak the potato`s next time we could have flaming potato`s.
Looking forward to seeing that video, and I`m sure Baron will be too.
Matt`s patience level is great, and changing that flybar seemed to be the ticket.

Matt has been around the block before and spotted that one right away didn't he. ;)
If you soak the potatoes in Everclear, we sould eat instead of shoot them. :)
What a blast of an event, it was great getting to know you better. That machine really attracts attention in the pouring rain at stage center. :smokin:
