Hi Dave,
Sorry we ran out of time on Sunday. I was really looking forward to seeing that Raptor 90SE take to the sky. Too bad we didn't meet you a little earlier at the event. Well, there is always next year.
You have a real nice helicopter and I am sure it will be a ton of fun to fly.
Keep us informed and let us know when you get it in the air.

Hi Clyde,
Glad we were of some help. Eric did most of the work. He is getting better and better with the setup process. I make the tools and he supplies the radio and setup expertise.
Looking forward to watching Steven put that Hurrican 50 through the paces.
Make sure you guys bring Area 51A along to Mulberry.
Really nice visiting with you Steve and Ron. I will send Rusty a sample of the Hurrican 50 Swashplate Leveling (Setup) Tool for his evaluation.

Thanks again for the Goodtime. I really enjoyed helping out with the setups, and look forward to seeing the whole gang at the next event.
Really disappointed I can`t make it to Mulberry. Still trying to convince the boss that flying Heli`s is more important than that Jumbo Jet!
Thanks for the plug John. If it wasn`t for you, Nob, and the rest of the guys at TripleCreek I would still be figuring out what AFR`s, and ATV`s are.
I think I smell a 14z in the near future. Dear Santa!
Gotta Love those pictures of the field. Mac has a BEAUTIFUL Place.
Thanks

What a great event! IRCHA SE was my first heli event, and I must say I was very impressed with everything. Maybe next year I'll actually be good enough to fly :)

Dave,
it was my pleasure to assist in any way I could. I am sorry we didn't get it airborne before we all had to pack it in. It was great seeing ya again, we thought you fell off!! lol... Don't give up on that older bird neither she just needs some TLC and she could be a great heli even an awesome scaler since the head will allow the blades to cone up.
Randy
Holy cow nice work with the pano.. you move at light speed my friend

Most excellent weekend! This was my first time at Mac's during my 6 years in the game. I had a blast and recorded some awesome footage that will be posted shortly. Thanks to Terry, Rob & Mr. Hodges for hosting the most outstanding event in the southeast. Matt Botos has been officially titled "THE EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD!" Bert and Bobby Watts were off the chain as well. I will definitely be there again next year. Hope to see everyone in Mulberry.

See everyone at Mulberry!

Sorry It's taken me so long to reply guys. I haven't been home for more than an hour yet!
Anyways I would like to thank the following:
Mac Hodges and Bill for giving us an outstanding location to hold the event. They always make every effort to make sure the field is in pristeen condition and the shop is stocked to the max!
Bob and Becky From B&B hobbies. Bob hooked us up with the Trex 600 that we raffled off!
David "Big Pappa" Harky. David always makes every effort to make sure everyone is having a great time regardless of the situation. David is Truly a great friend.
Clint, Julie, and Cason Akins. Thes guys give a new meening to Family Hobby. Clint has helped me out from the beggining, Julie helps out where she can (Registration, food, Pickin up Cigarratte butts!), and Cason provides the comis relief! "I used to fly Nitro but now I fly electric"!
Rob Jones and Billigan. These guys did an awesome job designing the t-shirts. Rob has been a great friend to me in co-cding the event!
Team Miniature. What can I say? these guys bring the smackdown and the fun wherever they go! They make every effort to help the newbies out!
Matt Botos. Man I don't think I've ever seen Matt without a smile on his face. Matt flew the hell out of his logo 14 and his Synergy N9!
Burt Kammerer, Mike Demita, and Bobby Watts. Man you guys can put on some night shows!!
All the sponsors. Miniature Aircraft, Espirit, Hodges Hobbies, B&B Hobbies, MRJTrading, V Blades, PureHobby, Bergen, Big Al's Hobbies, Huricianne, FlightPower Batteries,Helifeak, CSM, Ricks, G-Force Heli,Runryder, and Gohbee! We had an awesome raffle pot this year because of you guys. Everyone make sure you thank them when you place your orders!
All the pilots. I can't stress this enough, you can't have a great event without great people and the folks we have had the past 2 years have been outstanding!
I may have been the figure head at the top but YOU GUYS are what made the event what it was!
We are already beggining the planning proccess for next year! You guys make sure you come back and help me make next years event even BETTER!

We also unvailed some new Machines:
The Maxim Gasser is a Gasser that has been very popular over seas and made it's debute at SE!
The Hurricainne is an all new 50 size machine with All carbon and metal for around $699. It is a nitro version that can be converted to electric via a simple pop-in kit.

I would like to mention again that I was very pleased with everyones attention to litter and cigarette butts. I know that Mac likes to keep his field clean and litter free and it is everyones responsibility to do so while flying at his place.
I was touched by watching many of the pilots police there area and the entire field while walking around and flying but I was truly taken aback when I saw the most disciplined example of curtesy to Mac's place when Bert wouldn't even flick his ashes on the field but instead used Madman Mike's 14mz as an ashtray while flying. For this I would like to elect Bert as the Honorary Grounds Keeper for IRCHA SE 2006.....Way to go Bert.
Here is a picture to capture the moment.
Thanks again for a great event and I look forward to next year.
