ok guys who has a 4#6 in hand? i have decided that i just don't want to invest the time needed to learn to fly my 4g6. not to mention i don't have the room at home to fly it, and have to goto my brothers house to fly it. 20 min ride to get there. i hope that the 4#6 will fill the bill.
ya i know i keep changing my mind on what to fly (love my cb100 though), but gotta keep club heli in the black. what a great guy Rick is :clappp  the 4g6 is a really nice heli, but just not for me. oh well on to newer helis i guess.
so what's the verdict?

seems any parts for the 4G6 work on the 4#6. that's a good thing. you got the radio already.
but is the head stiffer than the 4G6? or will that be the same problem?
i am gonna try some o-rings, a few washers, and try the mixer arms from the Gaui EP100 V2 aka Minizoom Pro V2 (part 203580). then steam roll this 4G6 and move on also.

not all 4g6 parts cross to the 4#6 as an example the flybar which you think would cross is differnt on the G vs #
terrence has them color coded as which cross and which don't

oh ya, LOVE MY 4#6!!!!

how much more authority is there from the tail on this bird? I have an msr and one thing i hate is the non authority from the tail!

it's a really nice heli, but has it's problems just like other helis do. for me it's just the time needed to relearn to fly it. i'm working on a swap into a 4#6. it just aggravates me way too much, and i don't have enough room to fly it at home.

do you got a cb100 as well? how about a trex 450. i think my cb100 flies alot like my 450. i was wondering how it compares to my cb100, and 450 flight wise if you have either/both.

no cb100 at all and i have a 450 but it's not in flying condition at the moment. the only thing i can compare the 4#6 to is just about every mod of a 4#3B close to the same size. comparing to a belt drive guru-z they are really close in ease of flying, and compared to a corona 120 the 120 is harder to fly as it has a lot more response

$170 or R/O plus shipping. comes with 4 set of woodies. no tx, or battery. less than a month old. was a christmas present. not sure what shipping will be though. shouldn't be much. not much weight. i'd also accept a 4#6 no tx, and 4 set of blades from club heli. when i get a tracking number from Rick i'd ship. with that deal i'd include a battery, and pay shipping.

I'm also in the market for a 4#6. I think I'm going to pick mine up from wowhobbies.com $149.99 with Tx, the 2401 I believe. At the same time I already ordered 5, 600mah 20c Lipos for it off Ebay and I went to ClubHeli.com and both the 3, 500mah 15c lipo/charger cable combo for $22. So now I just need the Heli hahaha. I'm going to order it with my next paycheck. Currently flying a Esky HoneyBee V2. Sold off my HDX450SE v4. I got tired of sinking money into it. I flew too aggressive and would ALWAYS manage to break something. But was a badass heli though. If I ever go back to CCPM it'll be a 4G6.

Love mine as well. Over 75 flights and still can not get over how locked in the tail is.:)
Just a note..the Hobby City 400ma zippy lipos are about the biggest ones that fit the 4#6 holder. Don't ask me how I know!:o The 450's and 600's will lift off but are noticeably heavy and have to be mounted under the canopy looking like bombs or external aux tanks.;)

I couldnt agree more this bird is awesome i love it. Ok to someone who has the G6 as well as the #6 tell me how much more "twichy" is the G6 when compared to the #6?

I just got the 4#6. I am still trying to tune it as it really is unstable :arggg:, and compared to the CB180d it is really tough to fly. The CB180d lives up to its press by being as easy to fly as a coaxial... really nice. Just does not have the juice if you try to take it outside and a breeze kicks in. Yes it is as stable as my Align 450.
I was thinking of rebuilding my 4#6 to make a custom 4G6 with a spektrum RX, E-filte gyro and the replacement 4G6 head. From the pictures it looks possible.
But unless I can make it fly a bit better than it does now, I will not waste my time on it.
I also got the Align 250SE V2. Larger aircraft by a little bit but technology wise they are night and day.
Something to ponder, my Walkera 60B head design is exactly the same as the 4G6, just scaled up. This heli really flies well for the money. It is a bit difficult to work on, hard to get to things like the main gear, etc. But if I had to recommend a step up from the 4#6 or 4G6 that would be it.

Well I received my 4#6 from Club Heli yesterday and I ran two packs through it last night after work. After a few clicks of left cyclic, it flew pretty good. Seems a tad under powered with the stock motor though. I'd forgotton how unresponsive FP helis could be but, it is stable; almost too stable. I'm not sure if it's a keeper yet or not. It may end up for sale or traded for Shaggybirdman's 4G6. I definitely prefer the 4G6.

what radio came with it? 2401 i believe?
let's do it bro. i'm game. working on a 2601(i think it's a 2601 anyhow) 6 channel tx to make it a rtf.

It came with a 2402 Tx. I belive it's a 2401 with a LCD screen. I've only flown it twice so I'm not sure what the screen is good for yet? It looks cool anyway. I may make the investment in a 2801, especially if I end up with another 4G6.
BTW I replied to the PM.
Thanks,
Jim

I have both heli's and can tell you that they are totally different.
First I want to say that I am not an experienced flyer and started flying rc heli's only a few months ago when I bought a CB100.
After a few weeks of practicing (and replacing almost every part due crashing) I could fly the little thing around in my 'not so big' apartment. I could fly tail-in and nose-in without many problems so i needed something better and I ordered a 4G6 + WK2801pro combo.
Big mistake.....
This thing was really fast, unstable and unflyable for me. I wrecked it in a few mins.
(main blades,feathering shaft,main shaft,maingear and tailgear)
Together with replacement parts I ordered a barebone 4#6.
I am flying it for a week now and I am able to hoover it for a full pack atm. If I would compare the twichyness with a cb100 and a 4g6, I think the 4#6 fits right in between.
The 4#6 needs constant adjustments to keep it in one place. It clearly doesnt have the self stabilizing head as the cb100 but it feels really relaxing compared to the 4g6. The 4G6 is super fast and reacts super quickly on every tiny stick movement (even with D/R 50% and expo 30%)
Also if you hit anything with the 4g6 something is gonna break for sure because of the way higher headspeed. I crashed a few times with the 4#6 and did not replaced a single part yet.
