Spartan Vision-Lock [Archive]

Howdy,

I'm new to this forum, an old timer over on Rotory ... but not many AP people over there ... so thought I'd ask here.

I've been trying to locate a gizmo called a Spartan-RC Vision Lock (Rev. 3) ...

Spartan shows the item out-of-stock and both US distributors likewise.

Would any of you gents happen to have one or two laying around that I could buy, borrow, beg or steal? :roll:

Yeah, I got two of 'em. I offered them up to help raise money for Scott Gunnell, but haven't had any takers yet.....

Thanks for the welcome ... I appreciate that. I feel at home over on Rotory ... but regularly lurk around here ... and when I need help with AP ... you can bet I won't be shy to ask.

Mark ... two payments of 40 each were forwarded to Scott Gunnell ... I screwed up and wasn't thinking on the first payment ... and only sent 40 ... then realized the error and sent another 40. Crazy day out here and I'm an old fart ... so it doesn't take much to confuse me.

I'll try to find your email address and attach the receipts and my address ...

Howdy Mark,

Well ... I probably won't receive the mount that they're intended for until later this week or early next ... it was shipped from SC only today ... so no big hurry. I plan on leaving my current mount intact ... so I won't be using them there.

I hope they do what I expect them to. I have a couple of old 550T gyros that I intend to use them with. If those won't lock in ... then I'll be facing either robbing a couple birds, or wait til next month to get 401s. My hobby plastic is about exhausted ... and wifey would have a major meltdown if I hit the other accounts ... I know that most of you guys don't worry about those things ... but us old farts on fixed incomes ... yada yada.
