Trex 700 LIMITED edition, yeah right

Originally it was released with the GP750 was supposed to be limited to 2000. Today we got one in for a customer this morning with the new Align GP780 gyro.

Then I was thinking all helicopters are limited. Limited to how many they can get people to buy.. :) 700 rocks but I call BS on this one Align.

They just needed something to stick behind the 700. I'm surprised they didn't do that with the 500. They could probably sell a few more if they did. It's the age old obsession with keeping current. Us consumers are drawn in like moths to a light bulb.

Actually it is mostly wishful thinking I of course don't know. The 700 LE packaged with the Align stuff rocks the docks in my opinion, you still need a motor+pipe or go electric but that either with is only 600 bucks or so depending on just how much you need. In peoples reach, man at just over a grand for the kit if not limited it owns the market in full kit loss repair costs.

I've always wondered about this LE thing too...doesn't seem too limited, but then again the whole deal makes a lot of sense. Just like Terrabit said, we all want the newest and best stuff available...Good on Align for figuring that out. :)

On a slightly-unrelated note, are the LE kits shipping standard with a GP780 now? Is this only for 700's or the 600LE too?

if it hadn't been for the LE kits and flying hobby, i really doubt that i would have my 700. For 1300 shipped only needing a throttle servo and receiver (i got the combo that included the 91H, pipe and starter) it is an awesome deal!!

I am unsure I am able to make that claim and everything I ordered is gone. I will see if I can find out more.
