Tail brakes away when reversing flight

Hello fellow cb100-flyers,

I am getting through the dark-cold winter playing around with my cb100: Big fun!! :)

Wanted to get your opinion on following behaviour: When I send my cb100 away from me (fast) and then pull the stick back before it hits the wall: Then for some reason the tail makes a 90' counterclockwise turn. The gyro seems to have difficulty with this manouvre..

Any of you guys seen this behaviour? or even beter: Any solutions out there?

Yep my CB100 has the same behaviour but i think it has nothing to do with the gyro.

A motor driven tail simply cannot act fast enough to cooperate with the sudden torque change.

However if you secure the receiver unit (which contains the gyro) tighter to the frame by using a rubber band or something like that, the gyro becomes more accurate.

rubber band the rx!? cool. i'll have to give that a try. my 4g6 has the rx zip tied to the frame.
