I was impressed with the method in: http://www.teambob00.com/

this way you don't have to land and wait for the blades to stop and reach for the needle to do a single click adjustment, with this way you just use any unused trim on your radio (suggested to used the Rudder trim in their website) to do single clicks increments if the steps were set at approx 32 increments for a trim click.
and the method described above also lets you control the needle manually if you wanted to by using a 2mm allen driver.

Any thoughts about this?

Both those methods have been around for the 20 years I have been in the hobby. The onboard mixture control is OK. Don't see it being used much now. The carbs we have today are fairly good and stay tuned during the flight. Also it is one less item on the heli for something to go wrong.

yea i kinda knew mixture controls were around for a long time, i only heard and read about them, never actually saw one,, that site was the first for me.. and im a newbie in the RC business,, I suppose it'll be helpful when the statement that OS engines need to be tuned almost flying day is true.. I don't know if single needle click would do a huge difference.
