I've been having an occasional twich in the tail of my Evo 50 with my 601 gyro installed. While checking it yesterday, I noticed that when the gyro/servo is connected to the rest of the system and I start stirring all the sticks except for the tail rotor, the voltage display on the 601's screen stays visible. However, when I start wiggling the rudder stick, the voltage display disappears, and doesn't reappear until I stop moving the rudder.

Is this normal operation for a 601, or is it a sign that I have a problem somewhere?

Equipment used:

* Airtronics Stylus w/ PCM Rx
* Duralite 1900mah Rx pack
* Radio South 5.1 volt regulator (my backup regulator because my original Duralite reg was damaged)
* Analog servos on cyclic and collective, digitals on tail and throttle
* Revolution base loaded antenna

Had the same problem with mine, the lcd wasn't making good contace with the circuit board, all I had to do, was put a coule pieces of small line tape on the outer edges of the lcd, and that put a little more pressure against the contacts on the circuit card, still working fine after about a month now. But if you have the time, I would really suggest sending it in to futaba.

My excuse is I got mine used and had no manual to read.
