I decided to CNC my motor plate. The one I bought from Century was just not going to work right with the motor I am using. It was designed to work with many different motors. Thus the large center opening for the pinions and the in-line mounting pattern. With some help from a really good SolidWorks man--(AV8TOR)-- He was kind enough to draw the plate up for me(I am just learning SolidWorks). Once that was done- I programmed the part in MasterCamX and used the Fadal to CNC the the plate, and thus the newly designed plate for mounting my Balsa Products motor (20mm bolt pattern). I can now remove the pinion and adjust the motor with no restrictions. In other words- the main gear can now stay in place when needing to change something. Now the motor is very secure with the orientation change on the 2 mounting screws. Before, one of the mounting screws was barely secured with the edge of the socket head screw.
AV8TOR-- I once again Thank you for your help. I couldn't have done it without your time and patience with me. :cheers
Here is a Pic of the two plates side by side.
