Select discharge for the number of cells (3). Set the discharge current to 2 amps. Discharge about 100MAH from the pack.
When that is done, try the charge again. It should work.
The only time I see that wrong voltage or polarity message is when I try to charge a pack that is too close to full. The discharge will drop the pack voltage enough to let the charger activate.

I tried what you said and it did the same thing..Do you think the data cable is bad someone mentioned that to me on another post..

Press and hold the SEL/MOD button. Which charge profile are you using:
FullCharge 100%; Fast Charge; Storage 50%; Li-on Pack 4.1V; Charge to 95%?
If you are on one of the less-than-full charge profiles, you may still have too much voltage for the 1010C to charge the pack.
The other option is to select the Balancer info option and see what the balancer shows. If the data cable is defective, you should not get valid information in this mode.

Just got it yersteday.
I hae the Hyperion EOS 7i and the FMA balance pro when I connect them I can charge them, But has no display screen to showme what it does and the EOS has no balancer.
Three chargers and an't do anything.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious but you do have the main battery leads connected to the charger, right? At least with my 205 balancer, you can't charge through the balance leads. You charge through the main battery leads. You will get this message if not hooked up. The data cable has an optical isolator and won't allow the passage of current.
