First solo!!!

I did my first solo today!!! :D
I'm so happy! :D
So far I flew with the person that is teaching me and training gear on, but I decided that I needed to get rid of the panic of crashing (after all it's just plastic and metal) otherwise I would never learn, so today I headed all by myself to the field and flew like half a gallon in just over one hour just circle and land, figure 8 and land (all without the training gear). It's amazing how much more agile the heli is without the legs on. And at the end I went ever braver and decided to try some autos. On the second one I landed on tall grass :shock: so it wasnt that smooth and bent the flybar (cheap :wink: )
Well, I can keep going on but I guess no one is that much interested on this. :)

Thanks all for the encouraging, the bad news is I think I'm getting to that ''point of no return'' and becoming another heliaddict.
Now you are going to need to put up with all my questions since I'm a compulsive learner and like to understand all the whys (I'm basically a 42- 5 year old kid) :mrgreen:
