i am new at this....just ordered a pitch guage(not here yet).what angle should i start with?i can kinda do better by adding a couple of turns to the links.when i shorten them and make the head speed faster i have to chase the thing all over the place.thanks in advance david.

Do you know how to check balance and tracking? If not, check out bladecprepair.com then start with zero pitch at zero throttle.

Hey David,

If you got a Blade with everything as stock, do not try to change anything out of the box, especially before having tried and flown it before...
How's the saying in the plane-mechanics? If it ain't broken, don't fix it... ;)
I tried to correct two things (gain on gyro and a very tilted swashplate with sticks centered) only to find out, that the way it was, it's already at the optimum...

For collective, zero throttle equals 0° pitch in both modes, full throttle 12° in both, full negative equals -12° in stunt and -2° in normal mode.
On cyclic, I did not measure, but it appears they're giving all you've got... ;)

Cheers,

Daniel
