i am wanting to know what rating is the hacker 77 esc rated to/or whatever it can handle.
also what difference between the 5s1p and the 5s2p are there except for flight time?
would the 5s2p be better than just 2 6s1p 3700mah performance wise?
Cheers,

Voltage max allowed is 10S setup. Max continuous current draw allowed is 77amps. And I'm pretty sure the surge limit is 100A (usually quoted for 15sec surges on most ESC's)

I'll take a stab at it:
The 2p are going to be a lot heavier, and also run a little hotter than 1p if you push it.
If you get an ESC that can handle it and can run GOV mode, and you have the right gear ratio, then 12s might be the way to go depending on if this is for your Ion-X or not.
Also remember that you can charge a pair of 5s1p packs in series and have them very well matched and balanced together since you fly them in a pair, but you cannot do that with a pair of 6s that I know of on the common chargers/balancers.

How exactly are you charing the 2 5s1p together to match them Will? I have two 1010 chargers as well as two 210 balancers,,,,,I have been just charging and balancing them seperate myself...
