I think I may have either cracked or borken my clutch on a simple tip over. I went to test fly it today and the clutch grabbed right away at idle so I didn't bother to spool up. Checking if everything can spin freely the main gear wouldn't took a lot of push to move it at all. I checked the tail and thats fine, meshes are good.

So I am pretty sure its the clutch, doing a couple test pulls without the plug on the clutch engages and spins the clutchbell. Now what is the easiest way to get to that? It looks like dropping the engine would be a nightmare. Would I better off getting the main gear out of the way then see if I can get to it?

On the same topic does Bergen stock clutches for the G26? Pretty sure I will be ordering on shortly

You can take the main gear off and get it worked out through the frames by taking the mounting bracket and all .
I would also guess that you didn't break the clutch but one of your nylon bushing bolts backed out and it caught between your clutch and clutch bell.
Don't ask me how I know.

Been there...seen that, too

Oh, and Larry's right. I've done it both ways now and pulling the main gear is far easier.

Did a quick tear down about 9pm and it turns out one of the screws/bolts was backed out. Had maybe 1/8" in thread left holding it in.

Called Bergen RC up and replaced it as per their advice. Will give it a test tomorrow after I get that evil test out of the way.

Thanks again for awsome support Bergen, sorry for the college student calling hours :dontknow
