Hey Guys,
I'm having some major headaches with glitching on my Raptor 50 V2. I'm currently running a Os 50 Hyper, 9350 on collective and 9252 on the rest. Tried just about everything (checked wires, moved servo wires away from batt. wire ect.) I'll cycle the servos for awhile and everythings fine. I stop and a few seconds later servos start bouncing erratically! It's blowing my mind! Can a low or defective battery cause glitching? Please help! Ready to send this thing for a swim! :arggg: Thanks< Curt.
Can't fly her....but she sure looks pretty!!!

You said on RR you fixed it but you didn't say how and you locked the topic.
What was the problem? For the benefit of others that may be troubleshooting a similar problem.

Sorry Cuda. You're right,I should gave an explanation on how the problem was ,supposedly, fixed for other to see. My appologies to everyone.
I thought the problem was. :arggg: After I ended the post, I went out and hovered around for a few minutes. It hovered fine for about 3 or so minutes, then all of a sudden the heli just lost rpm dropped a dropped a foot or so! I set it down ok, went through it again and can''t find a thing out of place. I'm now looking at purchasing a PCM reciever to see if that works? I now have a Futaba R168DF FM reciever. Could cutting and splicing servo wires cause the glitching? I soldered and heatshrunk everything. so I don't have any idea? All help would surely be appreciated. Thanks Curt.
PS, Sorry again. This is a great forum that is here to help us all. All posts should be answered to the fullest so all can be helped. Thanks Baracuda, Curt.

How old is ur battery incase it has the dreaded black copper effect and is losing voltage, as u sound like ur proficcent with elctronics remover the sheath of the negative cable coming from the batery and if its black theres your problem. I have clear heat shrink on mine so i dont have to do this. Wish I could remember u it happens.
Another problem i have heard off is the tail belt building up a charge and thus causing glitching i have heard a drop ofsilicon lubricant stops this but i have never had a problem or heard of it from anone i know. A PCM reciever sounds like a good place to start.

Dry bearing making noise?
A 50 size nitro shouldn't make enough noise to cause that, pcm will only hide the problem not fix it.
Something loose and rubbing metal to metal? Look for black goop around joints. If done properly, no a soldered connector shouldn't make noise.

Thanks Cuda. I'm still searching. Let you all know what I come up with. If I come up with a cure?
I just changed and lubed new ceramic bearings in OS 50 Hyper. Could be other bearings though? I'll look somr more. Thanks again, Aloha, Curt.

I'd look at your start shaft bearings and your main shaft bearings.
