I have a Raptor 60 with a 70 in it right now. Can someone give me a detailed list of what I would need to change in order to put in a YS 90 in this heli (pinion, gears, gear ratios ect) Could I still fly it with the same boom and 680 blades??

This is the stuff that's in the 60 to 90 conversion kit.

11 Tooth Clutch Bell Pinion, New Clutch System (larger clutch, larger clutch bell, liner, Long Aluminum Tail Boom, Long Stainless Tail Driver Shaft, Long Push Rod, Carbon Tail Boom Supports Two Bearing Supports in the Tail Boom, 550cc Fuel Tank.

I don't think I would go with the conversion kit because the conversion kit has a tail boom too short to use 720 blades and 105 tail blades. If you want to fly with 680 blades the conversion is really easy.

An 11 tooth pinion will give you a 8.45 to 1 gear ratio which is fine for a YS 90. You will either have to modify your existing fan or get one for 10mm metric threads. The fan is easy to modify by simply running a 10x1mm tap through the existing threads. This is best done on a lathe to get the threads perfectly straight.

If you haven't upgraded your clutch to the heavy duty clutch I strongly suggest that you do. The stock 60 clutch and liner will work for a time, a short time.

Flying a 90 size heli with 60 size blades is a compromise I would only make until the budget allows for the longer boom and torque tube.

Absolute minimum would be:

1. 11 tooth pinion 8.45 gear ratio
2. Metric fan
3. Heavy duty clutch and clutch bell
