I'm convinced that something on my SZ-pumped is leaking and I'm pretty sure that it is fuel leaking from the black seal portion of the Regulator. I've checked that the bolts are tight by the way.
Has anyone else had a leaky regulator and could you tell me what difference (if any) it makes to the way the engine runs + how to fix it.
I'd be interested to know whether the pump's ever leak too - and as above, - how the engine runs + how to fix it.
I think the fuel from the leaky regulator is what's plastered all over the pump unit beneath the engine - but its hard to tell. Although unlikely, there could be two leaks.
It would be interesting to see if there are side effects from either condition to the way the engine runs as I'm not sure engine is running 100% normally at the moment.
