Hi

On my Fury Extreme, and want faster piro rates.
My combo is: SAB105 (JK), 8:18/1850rpm, Gy601/5256.
I use the center hole on the tail bellcrank.
On my T14mz the Rudder ATV is now on 120/120%.
The Limit in the GY601 is 130/130.(or is it 140/140)

Would it be okay, just to raise the rudder ATV?

When setting up the limit in the GY601, should I then raise the limit, until the pitch slider not can move anymore (Binds)???
I think I have read on some Forums tha people do make the limet (gy401) greater then it is possible for the slider to move, because the gyro will “eat” (contra steering) some of the servotravel…..????

Set the Limit Travel on the GY 601 so that the tail rotor pitch slider just starts to bind in both directions.

Then you can raise the ATV's on the rudder channel and this will increase the piro rate.

Also another thing that affects the piro rate is the CG ( Channel Gain ) function in the GY 601 menu. This function will be labeled like this NCGA or ACGA. The N is for Normal rate, the A is for AVCS rate. The A at the end will change to a B when the rudder stick is moved. So you have to set the channel gain for Normal mode and AVCS mode and left and right.
This function was originally used to set the piro rates on AVCS and Normal mode so they could be the same speed. I just use the ACGA to help with the piro rate in AVCS mode.
