Well...I was bored in a hotel room and it was raining outside...so I finally decided to redo my Jersey Modeler Fuel system...it was getting atrocious! 3 year of lugging it around the country to events had taken its toll on the control box...and thanks to Chuckie accidentally kicking it at IRCHA the whole thing was now held together with nylon tie wraps! :arggg:
I had been wanting a Duralite Battery in the fueler for a while since the only reason I carried a cheap NiCad charger with me was to charge the fueler when needed...so going to a 2000mAh Duralite RX battery made sense to me as it was one less thing I needed to carry in my field box...so a quick call to Jack Price at Duralite telling him what I wanted brought me a couple days later a custom wired 7.4v 2000mAh Duralite RX battery...
Well....a $15 trip to Radio shack for a 6"x3"X2" Project Box and 2 switches...and 3 hrs later I had a nice new control box for my Fueler.
I have also called Dean to have a new set of jug fittings and tubing sent to me for another $15 (should be in tomorrow)...so for $30 and the price of a 2000mAh Duralite battery...I have a nice new Kero Fueler!
