Are there any stabilizers that work with the Spektrum 2.4gHz radio?

someone with experience please post -really would like to know the answer to this also! I have heard the Ap2000 will work- but have no experience (and will wait to order until after someone can confirm usability).
Thanks

It is totally compatible with the 2.4ghz stuff. the ap2000i plugs in between your receiver and your servos; it doesn't matter what kind of receiver you use... I know I've ssen it in angelos' posts before, but I can't find it....

Nate's right. The AP2000i works with the signal to the servo so, until there is some change in that, it will work with whatever is out there. And if they do change that Angelos will probably write a firmware update to allow the AP2000i to adapt. :D
Spartan is know for that!

Nate and Mark - so no extra channels are required for "gain" or anything like that?
Thanks

No one asked about that. :D
They just asked if it worked with the spectrum. I take it you mean that spectrum is only 6 channels, they are all used for the heli, so how do you adjust gain on the ap2000i, right?
remove your gyro sensitivity channel and plug the ap2000i sensitivity into that.
Channel 4 on the ap2000i is currently spare, and you can plug your gyro sens. into the ap2000i and set a value in the ap2000i for your gyro sense. You won't have remote gyro sense, but I have never used it anyway.

It's looking like the end of next week. Shoot me an email to support@webberaerialimaging.com. That way I'll have your info on hand. They seem to be going faster than normal this time.[quote]

Just do like Scott said for the gain.

Although I agree, the DX6 works with the AP-2000i, what it doesn't work with are any of the typical 2.4 GHz video downlink systems, like the BWAV DigiLive unit.

-- GaryVery true, I made a downlink from a 1.2gHz spy camera

dreslism,
Thanks for the info! That is what I have been looking for- how to use with gyro without having to replace the gyro with a 240.

Actually if you were to buy through spartan it would cost the same or even more. The price on spartan site is just ~ . I asked Angelos about that when I bought mine as it charged me more than on the website.
Angelos is busy working on software and too busy to update the website to have accurate daily exchange rate info.
I think his correct price is in Euros. If you converted the daily rate it would come out to about what marks is, and you'll get it faster from Mark.
When you buy it from spartan, actual exchange rate for that day takes effect.

Thanks, that explains alot, I assumed the price was set, but now I understand the difference  Let me know when you have it in, Mark.

Scott is right on the money(pun intended  ). It's our weak dollar that's doing us in. That 'approximate' rate was earlier this year. Since the drop on the dollar I had to increase the price. I do wish I could offer a 'freak' discount. Sorry

Our web store shows approximate prices in US$ for guidance only. I occasionally update the exchange rate to keep up with changes but it is very difficult to be spot on all the time. Our prices are in GBP and customers are billed in GBP. The equivalent US$ depends on the exchange rate of the credit card processor. If remember right they will also show you the up to date US$ equivalent before payment is made.
Yes the AP-2000i works with the DX6
We have a number of AP-2000i ready but we are missing the top carbon plates. I was expecting them this week but no sign of them yet :(

I don't think anyone can fault you for that. I can't imagine where you find the time to do all the things you've got going now!
