hey , there was a fellow talking about running this controller on his Ion some time back when the 120 came out, I seached but no luck , just want to pick his brain some on how well it worked .
it might be a tad to big for the MXR , but 50% of its weight is that huge heatsink

how do you think it would go on the ion?? seeing as it says a 120 i am guessing it is able to handle 120amps?

12s at 120 amps , it would work GREAT! , but theres the V3 gov , that seperate, back in the day when I had a joker , actro 24-4 and actronics 32-70 with the V3 , its one of the best govs I have ever tried ,
this controller will also work with all motors , the older ones would only work with the actro motor

you reckon this would be able to handle the hacker c50 on 12s?? or can't the hacker handle it?

I dont know if the hacker can handle 12s , 10 the max wattage that motor can handle is something like 2500 watts , have to ask Chris on that one

Do not run the Hacker C50-15XL on more than 10S. That motor likes to run at 40K rpm's and 12S will put it way over that and likely burn it up. You could get away with it in an airplane where you only burp the motor from maneuver to maneuver but a heli is a different story.
To run on 12S with a Hacker C50-XL motor you need something like 18 or 19 turns of Cu.
