I am a JR user and need help with the 14 and 12.
Am a mode 1 flyer. so the SG swtich nob has 3 positions-this on my JR is used as the NORMAL, IDLE UP 1 and IDLE UP 2. so i went into the 'CONDITION SELECT' menu and tried to set it. I could not get it to set correctly, could someone give me some tips of how to go about setting this up?

Assuming all switches are setup correctly for mode 1 and you're running the latest code, when you go into a Condition to assign it's control switch, make sure you set Mode to Single and when selecting Switch SW-G, go into ON Posi. and correctly set the ON position.

Hi RCfan.
I still have difficulties trying to set this thing up, I've been a JR person from since i started. anyway, things are a little different here. the SW G used to have 2 position, now it is 3. the problem is i can only get it to 2 'things' when i toggle the 3 positions in SW G. its either 'Normal', 'IDLE UP1' and 'IDLE UP 2' so only 2 of these will appear when i toggle the 3 switch positions. why? which ever way i tried to configure the switches.

Go into System Menu -> Switch and verify that SW-G is setup as Lever 3Posi, then for all three conditions, go into its switch and verify that each one only has 1 ON position enabled the rest should be OFF.

I did this, but it still not working as it should.... does it has anything to do with the 'logic' button?

Okay, so you have three conditions, Normal, Idle-up 1 and Idle-up 2. Normal doesn't have a switch assignment. Idle-up 1 & 2 use SW-G, each one with a different ON Position enabled. Correct? If not, then please describe how you have all those setup.

yes, Idle-up 1 and Idle-up 2 have different ON positions. should i just master reset the 14? i obviously did not use this radio on a heli yet since I am experiencing with this right now.

what page of the manual are you having trouble with? RTFM!
It's pretty clear how to set the switches up for mode 1 or 2.
did mine in 5 minutes from receiving the radio.

When you go into the ON Posi screen for SW-G, do you see it changing to all three positions as you toggle the switch? If not, you may have bent a pin when you swapped switches around. I'll PM you my phone in case you want to call me.

RCfan, could u pls also tell me a side question, of how to change the Switch in the 12z?

Do you have something else set to switch G, e.g. throttle-hold??? So when you toggle the switch, do you see it go from Normal, to Ilde-1 then Idle-2 and back again? Can you list the Conditions you're using and their order? If you can, post a copy of the model you're working on.

Regarding the 12Z, see if the info in the follow post helps: http://www.helifreak.com/viewtopic.php?t=20507

I don't own a 12Z, so haven't been able to confirm that it works.

Glad it's working (too bad about the switch though). If you try the 12Z tool, let me know how it works out.

RCfan.
i think it was just loose connection (even though it was neatly tucked in). One other 3 position nobs could only use 2 'functions' then when i wiggled it around, it works fine...
strange... but i guess its working now... i hope it doesnt fault when i fly...
