Hey guys,
I have a MRC super brain "977" dual charger and 2 thunder power 11.1v 2100mah li-po's, i noticed in the instructions for the battery it says a poor quality charger can be dangerous such as the MRC super brain "969" which is NOT a proper li-po charger.. does this mean my "977" is no good for it??
the guy at my local hobby shop said it was a great charger for li-po's so I'm kinda confused.. also when the batt is bran new should i charge it right away or fly it right away or discharge it right away??.. I just want the most out of my batt's lifespan.. what are some good procedures for charging and discharging these batts??
any1 have the super brain 977?

I also have the Brain 977. And 2 Thunder Power 11.1v 2100MAH batteries. Very important to Respect the lipo!. You charge it at 2.1 amps and be sure to enter 3 cells. Then hit start. The screen will display Lipo!. If not, Shut Off!!!. I've been charging mine for almost a year now and haven't had any problems. However, I have never attempted to discharge a lipo. It could damage it if voltage gets too low. Never charge one below 9.9v. New batteries should not be run down all the way. Just use it for about 1/2 the time and recharge for the first few charges. I'm somewhat of a newbe but have done my homework on some issues. Hope this was helpful.Good luck FLYING!!.
